Chairman of Tex-Ray Group Ray Lin has called on his country’s business captains to invest and grow their businesses in Swaziland.
He said the peaceful and stable conditions which prevail in Swaziland were conducive for business.Lin was speaking on Friday during a seminar on investing in Swaziland. The Tex-Ray Group provides over 5 000 jobs in Swaziland.
“His Majesty is very supportive for business growth and the government and people of Swaziland are very receptive and helpful. The position of Swaziland is also very good and the country has access to international markets,” said Lin.
He listed agro business, tourism, construction, bio-technology and the electronics sectors as some of the area that hold much potential for the country.
Businesswoman Susan Wang said she was keen to engage in exchange programmes for Swazi children to travel to Taiwan to learn entreprenual skills and how to do business.

She noted that attitide and a positive spirit were the ingredients to make it in business.
President of Motech Industries Luke Chang made enquiries about the energy sector and expressed an interest in establishing a base in Swaziland for power generation. He was pleased that government would ensure that he had access to the export market over and above the domestic terrain.
