TICKETS to the Standard Bank 2009 Choral Music Championships to be held this weekend will be available as from tomorrow, Phindile Mabuza has said.

The Swaziland National Choral Music Association (SNCMA) PRO said people are advised to buy tickets as early as possible because the Sunday is usually packed so it is likely that people would not get access if they think they will get tickets at the door.
She, however, mentioned that tickets to the Saturday event of the competition, which would comprise soloists, male and female choirs would be avaliable at the door. "I wish to advise choral music lovers to come in their numbers since this promises to be a good competition.
“It is also advisable that people buy tickets early to avoid inconvenience since they know that Sundays are usually packed."
Tickets are obtainable at 1 to 1, a boutique shop in Matsapha and at Swaziland Meat Wholesalers Building.
They are also available with Phindile at  6041700 or 6021959.
She added that they were still arranging with other outlets where the Sunday tickets would be available, saying the public will be notified shortly. A total of 10 choirs from the standard category will compete while six choirs from the large category have confirmed their participation for Sunday.
On Saturday, seven male voice choirs will take part while the same number of female voice choirs will be participating.
On the same day, a total of  11 bass soloist will be competing for the top position while nine tenor soloists will be partaking in the competition.
