King congratulates Iran president for poll victory

HIS Majesty King Mswati III has congratulated Iran President Mahmound Ahmadinejad for his reelection to presidency.
A statement by Prime Minister Barnabas Dlamini states that the Swazi nation is hopeful to have stronger ties with the Republic of Iran.
“On behalf of His Majesty King Mswati III, Her Majesty the Queen Mother, the government and the people of the Kingdom of Swaziland, as well as on my own behalf, I am pleased to express my sincere and heartfelt congratulations on your re-election as president of the Republic of Iran in a resounding victory recently.
“In joining the people of Iran in this happy occasion, I would like to express my firm belief that cordial relations which have always existed between our two countries will continue to be enhanced and strengthened in the years to come for the mutual benefit of our nations and peoples.”
He wished him good health, peace and prosperity.
The ministry of foreign affairs and technical cooperation also pledged to avail itself to renew to the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran “the assurances of its highest consideration.”
