STUDENT SHOT DEAD BY BUSINESSMAN

MYSTERY surrounds the death of Salem High Form Three student Sthembiso Gwebu.
He died recently, allegedly from a car accident, but now indications are that he was allegedly shot dead by a businessman Figi Mpiyakhe Sithole at Salem.
The businessman has since been charged with murder and is out on bail.
When the postmortem was conducted on Sthembiso, a bullet was discovered in the body, which made the police to open a murder case against the businessman, who runs the Tholen Days Transport.
Sthembiso has been described as one of the bright students of Salem High by his principal George Dlamini.
Tensions are now high as Sthembiso’s friends accuse the businessman of cold blooded murder and want to revenge.
Police have warned them against taking the law unto their hands, saying the businessman must have his day in court.
Sthembiso stayed with his uncle Chief Makhosikhosi at Ekwenzeni Royal Residence.
Indvuna of Ekwenzeni Royal Kraal Sam Siyabhadla Dlamini confirmed that tensions are high with the youth baying for the businessman’s blood.
Police Public Relations Officer Senior Superintendent Vusi Masuku confirmed the killing of Sthembiso and warned the community against taking the law unto their hands.
