Consumers winners in competitive mobile prices

Set, match, go!
It is not a game but consumers are winning.
The arrival of a competitor in the mobile communication landscape has given consumers so much more to choose from at drastically reduced rates.
In less than a month, the communication landscape has changed for the better -from the introduction of a new player as well as reduced communication prices.
On June 9, Swazi MTN introduced a price slash which was hailed as relief to the consumer as tariffs were reduced by up to 63 per cent. This was on the eve of the arrival of new player in the market, Swazi Mobile.
The mobile company which tags itself as the First World Network stepped into the scene with very pricey sim cards at E50, something that was met with an outcry from consumers seeing as they have in recent times been forking out a mere E10 for MTN Swaziland.
However, the company explained that the sim card was for free whereas the E50 was for the starter package within it.
