E1.5m budget for Benjamin Dube’s show

THE budget of the colossal Benjamin Dube show dubbed ‘One night with the King’ is worth E1.5 million.

THE budget of the colossal Benjamin Dube show dubbed ‘One night with the King’ is worth E1.5 million.

These figures were released by Dube Connection Enterprise working together with Leserato Events.

A statement issued by the company states that artist performances will cost E 410 000, while production stage, sound, lighting and live DVD production will cost E485 000. 

As the internationally celebrated pastor, Benjamin Dube, had mentioned that he would be coming with his team  from Spirit Music, their transport is also included in the budget, costing E 20 000  and E 10 000 for the main artist; Benjamin Dube.

So far, the prestigious show has roped in four giant sponsors. These are Swazi MTN which has pumped in E250 000. 

The Voice of the Church radio station (VOC), Swaziland National Council of Arts and Culture (SNCAC) and Dube Connections Enterprise are also sponsors . In the print media  the Swazi Observer has also joined as partners.  

Ekhaya Kusekhaya Photography is also a partner. The private entity will foresee the photography segment of the show.

Project

Dube Connections is looking for interested individuals and companies to partner with them in delivery of this massive project; ‘One night with a King’.

According to Dube Connection Enterprise’s Janet Stephen, the event will provide a unique opportunity to advertise products and services directly to a large, socially and cultural diverse audience.

“In addition to the substantial benefits of partnering with our market efforts, this experience offers representatives a first- hand chance to increase market share in and outside the country by communicating product benefits and company messages directly to consumers through on site participation,” Stephen said.

The sponsorship packages are divided into four categories ; Title sponsor which is worth E 500 000; Platinum package worth E 500 000; Gold package worth E 300 000; Silver Package worth E 250 000 and Contributor which is worth E 50 000. 

The title sponsor will be entitled to event naming rights, seat in the planning committee, comprehensive event branding, linked to Dube Connections website and social media accounts, their logo will be on all marketing material, official MC mentions and complimentary VIP tickets and discounted tickets.

‘One night with a King’ is an exclusive live DVD recording in honour of His Majesty King Mswati III endorsed by the King.

This event will be held at Esibayeni Lodge in Matsapha. Guests will be treated to a banquet setup and an amazing intimate night of worship with the amazing minister, Benjamin Dube.

Tickets to the show slated for August 4 cost E1 000.

Only 350 tickets will be available for sale.
